The backwaters, wildlife sanctuaries, mountain ranges and beaches give you ecstatic pleasure, and the serenity refreshes your mind and body.  The state has well spread tea gardens, strings of palm trees on the beaches, & one of the greenest forests in India. Kerala is known for its natural beauty and life full of joy and satisfaction. The state has the highest literacy rate in India. Kerala has long beaches within kilometers of each others. The state is home to seven wildlife sanctuaries that covers more than 11 thousand square kilometers of area.  

Kerala is also popular for Coconuts; every nook and corner is filled with coconut vendors to vanquish your thirst. Sun basking is very popular in foreign tourists and hence have dedicated beaches for them. The winter season if great for travelling in Kerala.
