It is an ideal destination for people who want to explore a destination that is offbeat. Whoever comes to Lolegaon goes back home with a bag full of memories and a smile.
One Day Itinerary
If you plan to cover these two beautiful hill stations in one trip itself, which is very easy and highly recommended, then you may want to spend a night or two at each of them.
Start with Lava, which comes first if you take the train or the plane. Start the morning with Tiffin Dhara sunrise point. Then go down to the Changey Falls. The stunning and quaint waterfalls will blow you away. Next, proceed to the Neora National Park. The vast tract of forest land is an ideal place to trek. You can end your day at the sunset point at Ghanti Dhara which is another beautiful sight.
You can devote the first half of the next day to visiting the Lava Monastery before moving on the Lolegaon. Covering everything in Lolegaon in a day is another challenge. However, the most beautiful and famous places are the canopy walk, which has a nice wooden bridge hanging through the trees, the Jhandidhara viewpoint and the Eco Park.

Getting food in every corner is again a challenge. Bottled water is easily available. All resorts have their own restaurants and that is perhaps the safest option.Also, some small shops having opened up their own eating places around the mall road region in both the towns. Once there, do not miss out on the variety of veg and non veg soups they have to offer.

Oct-Junis the best time to visit Lolegaon
If you're the kind who go for a holiday with a checklist, then summer months- March to May- are for you. However, if you're the kind who want to get away from your hectic life, then you might even want to go in winters. True, the weather will be chilled, and you may pretty much just walk around your hotel for those two days, but you will experience the most beautiful and snowy winter in all of West Bengal.
