Umngot River:The Umngot river is famous for having water so pure and clear that it looks transparent from a distance. The river marks a natural separation between the Khasi hills and the Jaintia hills.
Krang Suri Falls:Tucked in a peaceful green landscape against the rugged hilly terrain, the vibrant blue waters of the Krang Suri Falls has made it one of the top 5 waterfalls of Meghalaya. Thlumuwi Falls:A strong stone bridge with historical significance lies above the Thlumuwi stream, which descends down its path to form the lovely Thlumuwi falls. Nartiang:Site of the former summer palace of the King of Jaintia, the delightful village of Nartiang is a must visit when in the region where one can find the ancient Durga temple, along with the fascinating labyrinth of the captivating Nartiang Monoliths.
