Itinerary Day 1- Reach Shillong early in the morning and check in to your hotel. Start your day with a fulfilling breakfast at places like Bread?s Café and Dylan?s Café. Visit the famous Shillong Golf Course and experience the legacy of the colonial era. Next, head towards the Mawphlang Sacred Forest and explore the rich diversity and the monoliths. Next, head towards the Elephant Falls and spend a relaxing time at this beautiful waterfall and rejuvenate your body. After having a delicious lunch at restaurants like City Hut Family Dhaba or Dejavu, visit the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Culture and learn more about the cultures and traditions of the place.   Day 3- Start your final day of the trip with visiting the Chrysalis Art Gallery and spend some time amongst the multiple works of art by the artists of Northeast India. Next, visit the Shillong Baptist Church and offer a prayer amidst the peace and serenity of the church. Events in Shillong Fun activities at Wards Lake Throughout the year This serene horse-shoe shaped lake is a favourite hangout for people of all ages. Various fun activities such as fountain dancing and boating can be indulged in throughout the year. Activity: Trekking at David Scott Trail October - November This beautiful trek takes you past scenic waterfalls, colourful meadows and colourful Khasi villages.
