Since Pachmarhi was discovered and developed in the modern times by Captain James Forsyth of the British Army, this city houses charming churches built in colonial style architecture.

Queen of Satpura Ranges
Nicknamed so for being one of the few hill stations in Madhya Pradesh, Pachmarhi is a picturesque hill station located in the Satpura range of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 1067 feet, Pachmarhi has a wide range of beautiful architecture, both bestowed by the handiwork of man and nature. Be it the Pandava caves, or the Gothic style churches built after the discovery of the same by an official from British Army, Captain James Forsyth.
Itinerary
Day 1 -Reach Pachmarhi, preferably by noon and take some rest. In the evening, you can go to the main market for a stroll, especially where you can buy the indigenous honey and ayurvedic medicines.Day 2 -You should begin ideally with Bee Falls, an astounding creation of nature, not very far from Dhoopgarh, a favourite trekking hotspot.Day 3 -This day can be reserved for a visit to Pandava caves in Pachmarhi, one of the few refuges of the Pandavas after they escaped the trap fort in Ekachakra.

Pachmarhi can be visited throughout the year, though the best time to visit Pachmarhi is October to June. The summers are pleasant followed by moderate showers during the monsoon which leave the weather very attractive and enjoyable . The winters can be slightly harsh with temperatures dropping to almost 4 degree Celsius. One might also want to plan a visit around Bastar Dusshera and Navratri celebrations which can fill your experience with more light, colour and excitement.

Pachmarhi in Summer (March - June)
