This angling carnival usually takes place in the month of December. It is an event full of energy and enthusiasm. Angling competitions, ludo contests, dance competitions, and musical nights, all are scheduled in a way that everyone could taste the joy of participating and spectating the events. From children to adults everybody gets a chance to enjoy their selves to the fullest.

How to Reach Panambur Beach Panambur Beach lies at a distance of about 10 to 12 km from the Mangalore city. It falls on the way towards Udupi on NH-17. You can take state buses from the main bus stop in statebank or hire a cab. You can even opt for the non-express service buses that drop you right at Panambur Beach road joining NH-66. Once you are off the bus, the beach just a small walk down this road. A paid parking facility is also available on the beach for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
