Best time to visit Jana Waterfall The best time to reach Jana waterfall is between September and June which is the winter season in Manali. The temperature drops immensely during this season making the trek a little challenging. March to May is summertime, and June is the onset of monsoons. The days are pleasant throughout, and the water in the waterfall pool is a decent temperature for tourists to take a dip. How to Reach Jana Waterfall Jana Waterfall is about 35 kilometres away from Manali. One can hire a shared or private taxi to reach the Jana, a village a few kilometres away from Naggar in the beautiful valley of Manali. From Jana Village, a 20 to 25-minute walk or trek into the natural surroundings through narrow and rocky lanes is required to reach the waterfall. Busses are also available from Naggar to Jana Village, but they do not ply frequently. The first bus leaves Naggar at around 8:15 AM.

Tips 1. Tourists can reach the waterfall on two-wheelers although it is not recommended as the region has rugged and rocky landscape.2. Some stalls near the waterfall sell local snacks. A piping hot plate of Maggi and a nice hot cup of chai is a must-have here. Picnickers can carry snacks and beverages along with them if required.3. Wear decent trekking shoes as the trekking trail is rocky and uneven.4. The region is susceptible to landslides during monsoon. It is highly recommended that tourists avoid exploring the waterfall during monsoons.
