Best time to visit Umananda Island
The best time to visit the island is from October till May. The climate during the winter months is pleasant with the need of a layer of woolen especially during night time. Post February, temperatures see a rise though still comfortable. Avoid visiting the island during monsoons as access to the island can be denied due to the rising water levels of the River Brahmaputra as well as due to flash floods.
