Legend of Nandan Pahar Locals believe that once Ravana wished to enter Lord Shiva's abode, Shivadham. Nandi was serving as the doorkeeper and got into a fight with Ravana when he tried to forcibly enter the dham. Ravana lost his temper and picked Nandi up and threw him as far as he could. Nandi fell on this hill that is now known as Nandan Pahar. Things To Do at Nandan Pahar Boating The Lake on the hill is a perfect place for boating.
