Darang experiences hot and semi-dry summers with temperature going up to 36 degrees Celcius. The winter season is cold yet pleasant with December and January being the coldest months. The temperature often dips below 10 degrees Celcius during the time. However, travelling during the monsoon season in the place should be avoided due to heavy rainfall often leading to floods. The monsoon commences during May or June and extends up to four months. It is best to travel between the months of November and April.
