One Day Itinerary Day 1 -Start your trip by enjoying the local cuisine and walk around Chopta and explore the wilderness.Day 2 -Start your day early with a trek to Tungnath Temple. Camp there for the night and enjoy the majestic view and flora and fauna.Day 2 -You should trek from Tungnath up to Chandrashilla. Enjoy and take pictures of the view from there. Then, on your way back you should definitely visit KanchulaKorak Musk Deer Sanctuary and Deoria Tal.

Restaurants and Local Food in Chopta You'll be disappointed if you are out looking for formal and standalone eating out joints in Chopta. But basic regional cuisine is available throughout the city in the hotel and/or guesthouse you choose to stay in.Breakfast and lunch meals are available throughout the city at all joints, since they have a lighter calorie value and the terrain does not all support car rides around with a heavy stomach. Events in Chopta Deoriya Tal Trek March-June, September-October An absolutely picturesque spot, it's also a brilliant place for amateur trekkers. One of the main attractions is the brilliant, deep green lake, which is a good spot for stargazing. Trekking at Chandrashila April - September The story goes that this is the place where Lord Ram meditated after defeating the demon king Ravana. Offering spectacular 360 degree views of the Himalayas, this is a favorite among trekkers. From Mid April- September, the motorable road is cleared of snow, and thus is much easier to access. Deer Spotting at Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary March-May Known for its musk deer and other rare Himalayan wildlife, the smell of the beautiful aromatic flowers attracts you to the Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary.
