Best time to visit Sri Chakra Mahameru Temple
The ideal time to pay a visit to the temple is from October to June since the climate here is fantastic and worth sightseeing. Also, it is advisable to visit the temple during May when a seven-day summer festival is organized comprising of dog shows, flower shows, village fairs, and boating races. Avoid visiting the place during monsoons since the time won't be ideal for sightseeing.
How to Reach Sri Chakra Mahameru Temple
Situated in Nagalore which lies at a distance of 7 km from the Yercaud Lake, the temple is easily accessible. From Salem, on reaching the Yercaud Lake, take a left in roundtana that will take you to the Shevaroyan temple road which is quite famous. After moving ahead for two to three kilometers, you will come across a diversion towards the right which will lead you to the Shevaroyan temple, but you need to go straight to reach Nagalore. Some local buses also ply to Nagalore from Yercaud. Though the road is a little narrow the exquisite views one gets on the way of the valleys are totally worth it.
