The winters are icy-cold with minimum temperature falling to sub-zero levels from -7 to 10 degrees Celsius. However, this is a favorable time for tourists to witness snowfall in Tattapani or even bathe in the hot water springs of River Sutlej. Tattapani experiences an annual rainfall of 1452 mm.  Weather in Tattapani Loading... Tattapani in Summer (April - July) Summer in Tattapani arrives by May and lasts until July. The temperature remains comfortable between 16 to 28 degrees Celcius and is apt to witness the exotic arena of this delightful place. Various outdoor activities like paragliding, white water river rafting, trekking, zorbing and other adventure activities can be relished during this period. Tattapani in Monsoon (July - September) Tattapani experiences a healthy precipitation during the monsoons. The temperature stays pleasant between 13 to 20 degrees Celsius. Monsoon visits to Tattapani should be avoided since it rains heavily during this period and sometimes at a stretch for a couple of days. The famous hot water springs aren't approachable since River Sutlej gets flooded during this period, the water sports are also unavailable. Tattapani in Winter (December - February) The monsoons start to fade away by the month of October and the destination witnesses clear skies in the daytime and extreme chilly evenings during night. This is the period when winters start to set its pace in Tattapani. The hill station starts to witness snow in December when the temperature drops down to as low as -7 to -8 degrees Celsius. December to February is the ideal time to enjoy the snowfall as well as bathing in the hot water springs on the banks of River Sutlej in Tattapani.
