Forts of Sikar There are many forts in Sikar that have historical value and are immensely beautiful. One of such forts is Danta Fort which is on Sikar Jaipur road via Jobner. It was built by Guman Singh Ladkhani in 1733 and the fort is famous for being on the top and granting a breathtaking view. Another fascinating fort is in Devgarh which is hardly 10 km from Sirkar. It was built by Raja Devi Singh in 1787. This fort can only be reached on foot so get ready for a small trek. Khachariawas has one more beautiful fort for you to visit. It is built on the ground so no trekking there. Khandela is a town near Sikar that is surrounded by Aravali hills. This town has many heart captivating forts like Bara Pana Fort, Chhota Pana Fort, Charoda, Rashora's garden and many other spectacular places.

One Day Itinerary Day 1 -Reach Sikar and try the exquisite local cuisine before you start the day. Firstly you should visit Danta Fort. It is located at a height above the surrounding so the view from the fort is breathtaking. Then you can visit the fort in Devgarh and be thrilled by its history.Day 2 -After a delicious breakfast you can visit Ganeshwar. Take a dip in hot spring and get energised. You should also visit Baleshwar as it is nearby and is very beautiful. Then you can visit Khandela and that will take your entire day as it has many exotic places to visit. It has forts, gardens and an old ruined Shiva Temple.Day 3 -You should visit and seek blessing from Jeen Mataji Temple. She is the Goddess of Power and during Navaratri the place has a huge celebration and is packed with devotees. Falling in Rajasthan, Sikar experiences extremely hot and semi-arid summers with temperature going as high as 45 to 50 degrees Celsius.
