Rail:The nearest rail head is the Kathgodam Railway Station which is 150 km away from Dwarahat. The cab ride takes about 4 hours to reach Dwarahat and goes through some picturesque hills and lakes. One can also find public and private buses for Dwarahat from the railway station.
Road:Dwarahat lies in the intersection of the Kausani-Ranikhet route and Almora-Badrinath route so is well connected to different parts of the state with motorable roads. Public and private buses provide frequent connectivity to nearby regions of Dwarahat.
