Things To Do at Blossom Park Children's play area  The well-maintained children's play area is completely well equipped with swings, hammocks, sandpit, etc. amidst the lush green landscaped garden. Boating With the park being located near River Muthirappuzha, boating is another favourite activity amongst the tourists. Muthirappuzha is the largest tributary of River Periyar and is also where the Pallivasal hydel power house is located. Pallivasal Hydro-Electric Plant The Pallivasal Hydro-Electric Plant is located on River Muthisappuzha in Kerala which is the first hydro-electric plant in Kerala that was fully functioning in 1940. The project falls under the Southern hydroelectric region. It has a total installed capacity of 37 MW and is owned and managed by the Kerala State Electricity Board. The plant was renovated in 2002, and currently, the Pallivasal Extension Project is being implemented to completely utilise the available river water.
