Best time to visit Echo point
Morning and evening though the best time to visit is during rain but only for youngsters because it is very slippery and difficult for elderly to walk. During rain (near Mumbai) this place is even better than Khandala.

Tips
Trekkers prefer to travel by State transport bus from Panvel to Dodhani ( 15km). From Dodhani it is an hours trek to the sunset point of Matheran. This trek is very safe and easy to walk. Many trekkers prefer it during monsoon.This path passes through the forest area, with lots of streams and lush green trees.
