Jogini Waterfall Trek Route
The trek to Jogini Waterfall begins at Vashisht Temple. Tourists prefer to reach the temple by public transport or self-driven vehicles. The parking area at the temple can be used for parking vehicles. It requires trekking for about 2 kilometres to reach the Jogini Waterfall. Trekkers need to take a narrow lane adjacent to the temple. This lane passes through Pine Tree plantations and beautiful Apple Orchards. As one walks through the alley, they can get a beautiful view of River Bead and Rohtang.
This trek can be completed leisurely, and it takes about 45 minutes to reach the base of Jogini waterfall. There's a small temple at the base of the waterfall called the Yogini Mata Temple. From this point, trekkers can climb up to reach the top of the waterfall or choose to descend to the pool formed by the waterfall.
Best time to visit Jogini Waterfall
The best time to visit Jogini Waterfall is during the summer season, i.e. between March and May and during the winters, i.e. between October and February. The temperature drops considerably low during the winters while it stays pleasant throughout the summer and both the seasons make the trek to the waterfall an incredible adventure.
How to Reach Jogini Waterfall
Tourist can hail public transport till Vashisht Temple. Auto rickshaws, buses, and taxis are the best modes of public transportation in Manali. Those opting for self-driven vehicles can park it in the temple parking at a nominal hourly charge. The trek then begins via a narrow lane located next to the temple and passes through Pine Tree Plantations, Apple Orchards and rivulets or streams till Yogini Mata Temple located at the base of the waterfall.
