The beach in Malvan
A commercially active beach in the Konkan region, this beach boasts of huge patches of beautiful white sands and stretches of cashew, mango, and coconut trees. This beach makes Malvan a great getaway. The white sands and blue waters coupled together add a very exotic feel to the place.
One Day Itinerary
Malvan requires at least two full days to completely enchant you and leave you with a sense of awe. Choose a weekend, since, because of its minimal human penetration, the place is not crowded by tourists even on weekends. Start your day by visiting the famous Sindhudurg fort and enjoy the scuba-diving and snorkelling activities. Indulge in a sumptuous Malvani lunch and proceed to Rameshwar Temple, after which you can spend some time on one of the beaches of your choice and proximity. Have dinner at the hotels near the beach and retire for the night at one of the hotels or lodges. Next day, after breakfast, visit another beach and enjoy the cool morning sea breeze. You can then visit the Rock Gardens at Arse Mahal. After lunch, you can choose to visit another beach or temple nearby or pack to return.

Solkadi - drink made out of kokum with a hint of chilly, makes a fitting end to a sumptuous meal.Malvani Laddoos made from gram flour and jaggery is a delight for people with a sweet tooth.
