Trek Routes
Kudremukh has a number of different trekking routes. These trails vary in difficulty level and you select them according to your comfort level. The nearest village is Kalasa from where you can seek accommodation. From Kalasa you can either hire a jeep or trek to the base camp at Mullodi. It is a 30-40 minutes drive and it is advisable to take jeep since the road has a lot of slush. The identification landmarks for Mullodi are the Somavathi falls on the right and a localiteÕs house on the left. Two identification marks on the trail up are Lobo's House and Ontimara.
