How to Reach Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls
The Kumbhavurutty Waterfalls are situated on Achencoil-Schencottah Road of Kollam District. From Thenkasi or other nearby areas, you can book a cab to reach the waterfall. From Thenkasi, the road is quite well built, but after 10 kilometres or so, you will have to start walking to reach the final destination.
Tips
Plastics, shampoos and soaps are strictly not allowed in the area. In case you do so, strict action will be taken against you.
Wear comfortable footwear as you will have to walk quite a lot.
The stones and rocks that lead up to the waterfall are slippery, so make sure that you are cautious. Take special care of children.
