Boat Ride at Princep Ghat
Boating is a favourite recreational activity at the Prinsep Ghat. These river cruises last for a few minutes to an hour, and tourists can choose from traditional wooden boats and speedboats.Early mornings (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM) and evenings (5:00 PM to 7:00 PM) are highly recommended for boating in the serene river. Some boatmen extend the evening river boat ride on request for another hour or so at additional charges.

Ferry services are also available from the Howrah Station to reach Babu Ghat on River Hooghly which is located about 2 kilometres from Prinsep Ghat. You can walk or hire an auto-rickshaw from here to reach the Ghat.
