The Sothavilai Beach is located 10 kilometres away from the town of Kanyakumari, quite close to the Sangutharai Beach. You can either book a cab to reach this destination or use public transport.
In case you plan on travelling by bus, you will first have to board a bus to Nagercoil, and then take another bus to Sothavilai, since there are no direct buses from Kanyakumari to the beach.
