With the largest congregation of Asiatic Elephants, Elephant Safari is a fun way to get close with the wildlife in Kabini. Also, boating down the Kabini river is an experience which is one of a kind. There aren't too many options for food in the area and your choices can get a bit limiting, apart from the several cuisines served in the hotels and lodges. Kabini is a place that will be most enjoyed during summers as it gives more options to explore wildlife during this time. This area receives heavy rainfalls during monsoons so it is advisable not to visit Kabini from June to September.

Kabini in Summer (March - May)
Summer sets in Kabini from the month of March and lasts until May. The temperature goes up to a maximum of 40 degrees Celcius. It is an ideal time to visit as you can explore a variety of wildlife. It is a favourable weather condition to enjoy the place during this time.
Kabini in Monsoon (June - September)
The monsoon comes with the onset of June and the downpour continues until the end of September. However, this is not a great time to visit Kabini because it limits you from going out and exploring. Also, with heavy rainfalls, it becomes difficult to commute.
Kabini in Winter (October - February)
Winters in Kabini are the most enjoyable with temperature ranging from 6 to 32 degrees Celcius. With the sun shining brightly during the winters making it very pleasant and inviting to go outside and explore, the nights are followed by a cool breeze.
