The charm of Shekhawati Situated in the center of the erstwhile Shekhawati province, Jhunjhunu is a historical town situated in the state of Rajasthan, not very far from the capital, Jaipur. Famous for the fresco art engraved in its grand havelis and palaces, Jhunjhunu is a town which is yet to be explored by historical enthusiasts, given the seabed of history it has within. Also, Jhunjhunu is religiously famous, for the Rani Sati Dadi Temple, which is thronged by female Hindu devotees annually. No wonder why Jhunjhunu is called 'The Charm of Shekhawati'.  

One Day Itinerary Day 1 -Reach Jhunjhunu, preferably by noon and take some rest. In the evening, you can go to the main market for a stroll, where you can purchase some local handicrafts, and precious souvenirs, which you can take back home as well.Day 2 -The 2nd day should be the ideal time for starting your trip through Jhunjhunu. You should begin ideally with Rani Sati Temple, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Jhunjhunu. Thence, you can proceed towards Khetri Palace, which is an astounding piece of architecture, modelled on the lines of the Great Wall of China, by Bhopal Singh of Khetri dynasty, in the 1770s.Day 3 -This day can be reserved for a visit to the various Havelis and forts in Jhunjhunu, famous for their Fresco art. Thence, you can either turn back to your homes or proceed further to Lohargal, famous among Hindus as a pilgrimage site.
