Major Attractions in the Museum
Earlier, the museum was constructed inside a palace in the Public Garden. The palace was built by the Nizam for his daughter and called it the doll's house. The most famous attraction of the museum is the presence of an Egyptian mummy which was accidentally brought in by Mahbub Ali Khan, the son-in-law of Nizam. Another beautiful attraction is a gallery which has solely been dedicated to Lord Buddha. The gallery comprises of bronze artefacts, arms, armours and has a Jain gallery as well.
