One Day Itinerary Once in Honnemardu, you have a choice- Either you can spend all your time indulging in water sports, trekking and bird watching, or you can explore the surrounding area as well. If you prefer the latter, then start with the lake. After spending a few hours, you can go up to the Dabbe Falls. For some odd reason, they aren't very popular, given they are enthralling. Next head up to Jog Falls. Spend dome time here, and then go to Singadooru Temple. The Goddess Chaudeshwari Temple is not just beautiful on the outside, the entire temple setting and offering prayers there is an enriching experience. If you have time, then you can go to Sagar town as well. Alternatively, you can go to Gademane, which is a few km from Honnemardu and spend your day exploring the place and shopping for some of the most beautiful art and craft items you have laid eyes on.

Oct-Dec, Mar-Apris the best time to visit Honnemaradu Like all other South Indian places, Honnemaradu has a hot summer. Travelling to a place like Honnemardu is especially inadvisable during the summers because you will be spending all your time outdoors. The winter season is nice but tends to get chilly around the new year. Hence the two windows- October- December and March- April- serve as the ideal weather to enjoy the adventures Honnemardu entails. Weather in Honnemaradu Loading... Honnemaradu in Summer (April - June) Summers might not be your best pick to visit Honnemaradu, considering the humidity and the extreme temperature range in the locality during this time of the year. The temperature can go up to 35 degrees Celcius, making it a tad bit uncomfortable. Honnemaradu in Early Winter (October-November) This time of the year is the best time if one wants to visit Honnemaradu. The weather is pleasant, and the temperature ranges from 20 to 25 degrees Celcius. The monsoon ends leaves behind this place beautiful with all the widespread greenery and the waterfalls in their full force. Honnemaradu in Spring (February - March) One can pay a visit to Honnemaradu in the spring season, where the temperature range doesn't lie in the extremes.
