History of Kingdom Of Dreams The eclectic melange of entertainment and theatre, Kingdom Of Dreams was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda, lyricist Javed Akhtar and the composers of the musical show Zangoora - Ehsaan and Loy on 29 January 2010. This grand project is the brainchild of The Great Indian Nautanki Company which is jointly owned by Apra Group and Wizcraft International Entertainment. This popular entertainment place has received a lot of flak for not paying the artists performing in their stage show productions. Kingdom Of Dreams Culture Gully As its name suggests, Culture Gully is probably the most interesting 'gully'(street) in the country. Showcasing the culture, traditions, and cuisines from fourteen different states of the country; this air-conditioned and the only 'indoor street of India' spread over a massive area of ten thousand square feet under a splendid dome. It houses themed restaurants, street bars, arts and crafts village, The India Tea House and Library and massage centre. The state pavilions also host traditional street performers and artisans. Kingdom Of Dreams Nautanki Mahal This is world's first cinematic theatrical experience with a combination of technology and creativity giving an entertainment extravagance. It is a huge auditorium that can hold about 835 people at one time. This place mainly sees many national as well as international theatrical productions. A famous Bollywood style musical, Zangoora, brings out the different flavours of India and the magic of Indian Cinema with a stunning spectacle. Jhumroo, a musical comedy is a fitting tribute to Kishor Kumar and his legacy. The story revolves around a guy named Bhola, aspiring to become a Bollywood singer who professes his love to Meena. It features nineteen of Kishor Da's retro tracks. Main Shows At Kingdom Of Dreams  Zangoora-The gypsey prince: This grand Bollywood Musical is written by Javed Akhtar and the music has been given by the very talented, Shankar Ehsan Loy. Jhumroo: A musical comedy show dedicated to the evergreen Kishore Kumar. It is a rollercoaster experience on a huge set with unparalleled technology and 19 of Kishor Da's retro tracks. Beyond Bollywood:A musical journey about love and legacy opened at the London Palladium and has played successfully all across Europe. Premiering in Mumbai, the musical has received tremendous appreciation. With retractable, versatile seating, it has the best hydraulic central revolving system and takes you away from the monotony of life. How to Reach Kingdom Of Dreams A convenient way to go to Kingdom of Dreams would be through the metro. The nearest metro station to this destination is IFFCO Chowk which falls on the yellow line. You could either take a stroll or book a cab/auto rickshaw to the venue. Other than that, you can hire a taxi or travel by a bus. There is a DTC bus stop at the IFFCO Chowk metro station. If you are planning to take your vehicle, and coming from New Delhi, take the exit 6 of the NH8. Parking facility is available at the venue.
