Flora at Eco Park
Amber meaning sky and Dhara meaning earth separated by 200 m are the two eco parks in Dhanaulti. The entire area comprises of a protected population of the deodar tree with wildflower hedges. The whole space is maintained by the forest division of the Garhwal region. This botanical park houses a variety of conifers especially the deodar trees. In addition to this, there are a few endangered species supported here as well. The best time to visit the park is during sunrise and sunset when the sky is imbued in multiple colours.
Activities at Dhanaulti Eco Park
There are small open huts present in the park where one can sit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. These eco huts are built from green technology which attracts tourists to its environment-friendly area. There are swings present for the kids to enjoy. There is an open Maggi corner inside the park as well where one can enjoy hot and delicious magi in the breezy weather making it all the more tasty. Being a famous picnic spot, there are also vendors present here selling peanuts, pop corns and tea.
Eco Park is an amazing place for the adventurous tourists out there as adventure sports are offered here including sky walking, flying fox, rock climbing and many more for all age groups from kids to older adults along with added safety measures. A yoga centre along with an interpretation centre is present in the park too.

The ideal time to pay a visit to the Eco Park in Dhanaulti is between September and June. The temperature here remains pleasant throughout the year just like the other hill stations. However, monsoons and winters should be avoided. Summers are a perfect time to unwind with the maximum temperature being 31 degrees Celcius.
