Head to the Mangalam Devi Temple located 15 km from Thekkady located 1337 meter above the sea level on a hillock of the town. Day 2:Head to visit the Mattupetty Lake along with Kundala Lake to have some wholesome experience of speed boating, peddling and slower watercrafts. You can later head to the tea gardens located near the Anayirankal Lake surrounded by the lush green dense vegetation and forest. You can trek and hike here to activate your inner soul of adventure enthusiast. Day 3:Head to the famed Chinnnar Wildlife sanctuary and find solace in the Natural walk in amidst the dense forest and exotic flora and fauna. In the evening you may want to spectate the majestic and magnificent Thoovanam Waterfall fed by River Pambar, where many birds and animals come to find their respite.
