Best time to visit Sach Pass
The best time to visit Sach Pass is between the first-week of July and September end. One can find enough snow on the pass, but it is still safer than the rest of the year. Other than clear days, the pass stays closed as the region is susceptible to landslides due to heavy snow or rainfall.
How to Reach Sach Pass
From Dalhousie, tourists can take the Pathankot - Dalhousie road and drive via Bairagarh to reach Sach Pass. Tourists can rent taxis to reach the pass or drive by private vehicles.
Tips
Sach Pass is narrow and one of the most difficult passes in north India. Only experienced and reliable drivers must drive through as the last portion could be challenging to cross.
The pass comes under Army surveillance, and there are several check posts. Tourists need to carry their identity proofs.
