How to Reach Patnem Beach
Patnem Beach is located in the southernmost taluk of Goa, just adjacent to the nearby town of Cancona and just a few miles away, a couple minute drive from Palolem Beach. Margao, the cultural capital of Goa is only 40 kilometres away on the National Highway 66 which extends through the capital city of the state, Panaji (70 kilometres). The famous Colva Beach is approximately 45 kilometres from Patnem Beach. Due to its proximity at the southern end of Goa, important beach towns and holiday destinations in Karnataka such as Karwar, Ankola and Gokarna are all less than a distance of hundred kilometres on the NH 66.
The cheapest way to access to Patnem Beach is by catching a state transport bus from the Margao Bus Station. A journey that may take an hour at most. The nearest railway station is the Canacona railway station You can hire an auto rickshaw from the station that will drop you to the Patnem Beach. However, you might be required to change buses at the Kadamba Bus Stand.
You can also hire pre-paid taxis from the railway station and the airport which will drop you directly at the beach.

You can find accommodation depending on your budget. Most of the places to stay consist of beach huts and are priced accordingly during on and off seasons.3. Since the area has started gaining popularity in recent years, there are also a few rent bike facilities available in Canacona, so hiring a bike to visit around nearby places would seem like a logical thing to do.4.
