Air:The closest airport is in Dabolim, 50 km away from the beach.
Rail:The closest railway station is in Canacona, 16 km away.
Road:The beach is located off the MDR49, near Cola Village. There is a bus service that runs between Madgaon and Canacona via Betul Beach which stops at the Vagon bus stop, situated half a kilometre from the cliff above the beach.
Sea:Private boats or yachts can be rented or hired from jetties in Betul, Vasco and Dona Paula. It is much easier to arrive at this beach through the sea rather than the road.

The Palm Discoveries resort is the only resort available at Kakolem beach. With a few exceptions along the way, the closest area for accommodation is Agonda Beach, situated 7 km to the south of this beach.
